Written on February 20, 2001 Summary: Computer Disaster a Book sensation This book is a great book for many reasons. One reason is that it is a book that any kid could enjoy. This book has the idea of truth and it is a great book with descriptive words. The book has wonderful art and a great story line. It earns 4 stars in my head, and 5 or above in a small kid's head. It is about Arthur (the lead chracter) who thinks he breaks the computer but doesn't. It is a great book for all ages. :) Written on February 20, 2001 Summary: Computer Disaster a Book sensation This book is a great book for much reason. 1 reason is that it is a book that it is a book that any kid could enjoy. This book has the idea of truth and it is a great book with descriptive words. The book has wonderful art and a great story line. It earns 4 stars in my head and 5 or above in a small kids head. I extremely recommend this book.  Written on April 11, 2000 Summary: Arthur does it again! This is such a good story that kids today can really relate to. It teaches that even when you disobey and mess something up, you should always 'fess up. Most often, the parents are able to fix things back. I'm glad, too, that the author included a suitable punishment for Author's misbehavior, so that the readers might understand that even though adults can fix things, he still had to suffer the consequences. Written on March 18, 2000 Summary: Arthur's the Best I have read this book over and over again with my two sons. They love learning with Arthur and seeing the world as he sees it. We also have found that Marc Brown hides the names of his children in the books, and we have made a game out of who can find them first. We hope to find new Arthur books in the future. |
