Written on June 21, 2008 Summary: Holy Smoke! I've just watched the "August Rush" on a rental dvd and will keep the dvd (don't tell netflix) until my soundtrack purchase arrives from Amazon. Thanks for being there for me again, Amazon. I was suprised that, with every smile and grin, how much Freddie Highmore reminded me of Josh Groban! I'm sure I'll remember him just like that as I listen to the soundtrack. Written on June 18, 2008 Summary: GREAT sound track Enjoyed the movie, LOVED the music. Listening to this CD reminded me of all the scenes from the movie. ANY movie that uses Van Morrison's "Moon Dance" has to be good :-)  Written on June 12, 2008 Summary: where's the cello? i loved the movie. loved the music. i remembered more achingly beautiful cello. it's not on this soundtrack.  Written on June 11, 2008 Summary: Just like the movie... Unlike your typical soundtrack filled with songs you can't remember hearing while watching the movie, this soundtrack is the exact replica of the movie! That is one of the reasons I enjoyed it so much. However, because most of the music in the movie was not lyrical, the soundtrack in turn has very few lyrical tracks. I personally love singing to the music; that's what makes an album great for me. So in that sense, I gave it a four star. Written on June 4, 2008 Summary: beautiful music My daughter and I watched this movie together (twice) we cried. She loved the music so I ordered the cd and gave it to her on Mothers Day. The music is so beautiful and calming. |
