Written on March 18, 2008 Summary: I don't "do" makeup Someone I know uses the bare escentuals and put it on me... I liked it a lot. I hate makeup. I don't like the feel of it. I don't like applying it. It is too much of a bother. Also, I don't like looking like a made-up doll. However, the bare escentuals feels natural and looks natural. And it only takes a few minutes to apply.  Written on March 11, 2008 Summary: go and glow This is a good product for people who don't like heavy make-up. I will wear only what is in this kit, the foundation, some warmth on the cheeks, then the mineral veil for a glow, then maybe some chap-stick. very low maintenance, and it stays on all day. Plus it does not clog up your pores! Everything you need is included and it even has a dvd on how-to. I love this stuff! Written on March 6, 2008 Summary: I'll never use any other makeup again! I love this makeup! I have rosacea and have had no results from topical treatments prescribed by my dermatologist. I was skeptical about Bare Minerals' claim of lessening the appearance of rosacea; I just bought it for the makeup. It turns out, their claim was not so far-fetched! It actually has started to reverse my rosacea! In the month that I've been using Bare Minerals my rosacea has decreased the level of redness in my face back to where it was 2 years ago! I'll never use any other kind of makeup again!  Written on February 23, 2008 Summary: 1 out of 4 work I may really like it if the colors were right for me. I was given two different foundation shades which are both too dark and the warmth color is way too dark also so I am basically left with the mineral veil which I do like. I have very fair skin so even the lightest color is too dark for me.  Written on January 28, 2008 Summary: Not too bad This product didn't cover as well as I anticipated. It looked fine on my skin though. Didn't have a cakey look. It looked natural. I will probably try the mineral makeup from Wal Mart before I will ever consider buying this. I don't believe it's worth the 60$. I just happened to get this product because I won enough points on another site. I would never spend the 60$ to buy it again though. |
