 Written on January 12, 2008 Summary: The BEST finishing product on the market! Since I discovered the entire i.d range of products, I have to say that this little gem of a powder has become my favorite make-up product of all time!! Never have I encountered a product that finishes up my make-up in a more silky, matte and natural way, it really gives you that photofinished look that makes your skin look completely flawless and beautiful at every angle. Seeing some people mentioning that it brushes off to their clothes can ONLY mean that they are using too much product, you really don't need a lot to make it work. Highly recommended!! I highly recommend this product!!! Written on January 9, 2008 Summary: Get a Demo! I've been using Bare Minerals for about 2 weeks now, and I LOVE the mineral veil. I do have very light skin, so I can't speak for reviews in which there are claims that it "makes skin look lighter." However, as someone who struggled with patchy skin througout my life (and cystic acne when I was a teen), I can say that I am sold on this product for life. I have large pores, and BE covers them really well without clogging them. The mineral veil is definitely the "finishing product" for the BE line. However, if I do have one recommendation it is this: Get a Demo!!! Or at the very least, watch the video!!! This make-up should not be coming off on your shirt (I would have noticed that, it has never happened to me. You need VERY little of it to do the trick. Also, there is no reason that the small amount that you put on should ever "cake," as some of the reviewers are claiming. I have friends who have used way too much of this product initially because they were skeptical about how little it actually takes. I was, too, until I went to a BE store and had my colors matched and my makeup done. Nothing but great things to say about this product. It is great for balancing skin and can be re-applied (minimally!) throughout the day (although I have never seen the need for that, it stays in place well). Written on January 6, 2008 Summary: Best powder! BE Mineral Veil is a great product. It's nearly invisible and never leaves a cakey build-up. Layer on as much as you want and you'll still look natural. It's very light and airy - much different than other finishing powders. Written on December 19, 2007 Summary: Finally, a NORMAL powder I cannot say enough about Bare Minerals products. I have been using them for a year and prior to that everything made my skin irritated. Mineral Veil is so light that I can apply it several times a day and it looks like I have nothing on my skin. I also use the foundation, etc. The entire product line is outstanding. I do not break out anymore and my skin looks amazing everyday. You look like you are wearing NO make up and best of all you don't feel like you are wearing any. |
