 Written on December 23, 2008 Summary: Very Adaptable When removing my Garmin Street Pilot from my windshield I ruined the suction pad so ordered this with the hope I could lay the GPS in it. I removed all of the mounting bracket except the power link from the GPS and simply layed it in the Bracketron. Works great. Bracketron UFM-100BL Nav-Mat GPS Friction Dash Pad Written on December 22, 2008 Summary: GPS Dash Pad Excellent product. I wanted to use my GPS on my dashboard but I didn't want to stick it in the window or on the dash. This product allows me to view the GPS screen at eye level and then transfer it from mine to my wife's car. Totally pleased with this product's performance. Only wish that I had purchased it sooner. Would strongly recommend it to people who use their GPS in a car.  Written on December 22, 2008 Summary: Dash Pad This pad works well and stays put even on sloped dash areas. Only problem is there no place for a power cord to fit through causing your device to lean on your cord and not set flush. Not a big deal but something to consider. Written on December 20, 2008 Summary: Excellent product I bought this to go with a Garmin Nuvi 205W GPS, and it works like a charm. As other reviewers have commented, it is a little bigger and heavier than I expected. On a recent trip on some very winding roads it didn't budge on the dashboard. It makes transferring the GPS unit between cars very simple, and is easy to hide under a seat for security. While I haven't seen the more expensive Garmin-brand friction dash mount for comparison, I can certainly recommend this one highly.
