Summary: Crash & Burn!!!! I am one of those people that really enjoyed the first three books. Although Twilight is the best, the other two were entertaining. This book is a DISASTER on all levels!!! These characters are completely unrecognizable! What a horrible, horrible ending to good story. Summary: What happened to Romeo and Juliet??? The first three books of this saga have led us to believe that the love between Bella and Edward is eternal, unbreakable and fulfilling. Well, I suppose my imagination made some enhancements in place of what should have been the writer's imagination. Nonetheless, this was a love story or rather THE love story of a 'perfect' man (a debatable topic, but not quite appropriate here) and his so less perfect object of affection. The saga was evolved around the sacrifice and perseverance of a true love. So, what the hell happened to that? All of a sudden, Bella decides to sacrifice everything, including her true love, her family (both the old and newly acquired), the other man that loved her and everything in between for a pregnancy in which she never even expressed any sort of interest before? What happened to eternal love she pledged to Edward? Does she no longer care that he's suicidal without her existence? What was the point of the whole saga then? Wouldn't she be just as happy married to Mike or Eric with a whole bunch of kids? In other words, would there be anything, anything at all, ever, that would make Juliet give up her Romeo? I'm sure that the author of that love story left no doubt in your mind on how to answer this question. Summary: Its a good Book 3 a). My favorite chapter was chapter 20 New. I think I was a great chapter because of the ever expecting and finally here turning of Bella swan into a vampire and we got to see everything through her eyes oh and the baby. b). I think the age group appropriate is teenagers to young adult. c). The foreshadowing how Alice can tell the future. d). Compared to the other three books I didn't really like it but I did it was a little confusing with the 3 books and the fight that never happened but besides that it was an excellent book. Summary: Badly executed ending to a fairly decent story. Read first two and then stop. I kind of liked the first and second books but the final two installments are kind of a yawn. Meyer's writing style is kind of sloppy and jumbled. And she has this annoying habit of adding more characters (vampires) when she runs out of actual ideas. And like a lot of books targeted to tweens and teens, they're really predictable and contrived. Very tidy and wrapped up with a neat little bow. J. K. Rowling, she's not. Summary: Loved it! I don't understand the negative reviews. I really loved this book, and thought it brought together the characters endings in a lovely way. The beginning scenes of the wedding and honeymoon are lovely, and tho, I, too, hesitated at the first sign of the 'little nudger', I thought the storyline was handled well. It kept me very interested, even if it was a little gruesome - hey, aren't we talking vampires here?? And the final part was great - with Bella so triumphant as a vampire, finally unburdened by her clumsiness, and we feel Edward's love for her so much more because he loved her when she was so imperfect and so breakable. I loved it, loved the ending, think it was a great book. I even love the fairytale cottage. I also didn't need a romance-novel love scene with specifics. This one was perfect. |
