 Written on November 29, 2007 Summary: Great family movie Once my children (ages 8,6, and 5) got over the fact they were watching a "brown" movie (their word for blk and white), they were delighted with this film. Usually they are viewing Hannah Montana and Suite Life with Zack and Cody so I thought a change was in order. Very very funny film for grown ups and kids. The rapid fire dialogue was hilarious! We highly reccomend it. Written on October 28, 2007 Summary: Hilarious I have seen the movie before I purchased it, and every time I watch it it is still as funny as it was the first time. I really enjoy it and I am very glad I own it. When I have kids I plan to raise them on old classics, and this is a perfect one. I would definately recommend it to everyone! Written on October 25, 2007 Summary: what hasn't Leonard Maltin said? There are few aspects of this film that can really be intelligently commented on that Leonard Maltin has not already fawned all over. All in all the film is great, one of the most amazing classic comedies ever filmed. Grant and Hepburn are great, the script is phenomenal, the cinematography is stark and pretty. It's really just one of those films that no longer needs much comment, if you haven't seen it you should. It's a classic that lives up to its reputation. (The Leonard Maltin comment was largely based on the fact that he has no taste in films, just spews up the standard responses i.e. "Oh Casablanca is so amazing...you haven't seen Gone with the Wind?...it kind of makes me want to throw up how generic he is) Written on October 7, 2007 Summary: Hilarious "Bringing up Baby" is one of the funniest movies of all time. If you look "screwball comedy" up in the dictionary you'll find this film. It is an excellent example of a comedy of errors. Both Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant are wonderful in this movie. Their comedic timing is superb. This is a movie you can watch over and over, year after year and still enjoy it. One caution: you will laugh so hard it hurts - but it's a good hurt.
