Written on June 12, 2008 Summary: Great Books for Young Readers My 3 year old loves the Brown Bear Book, his had been damaged so I replaced it with the set. The other two books are OK, not as good as Brown Bear but he still likes them. The best thing about Brown Bear is he thinks he can actually "READ" it, which adds to his self esteem and helps him develop a joy for books.  Written on June 9, 2008 Summary: Brown Bear & Friends Board Book Gift Set My kids love these books I have a 10 year old who started reding this set in 2nd grade and he still loves these stories they never get old. My 8 month old enjoys me reading these stories to him also so this set is good for all ages. Brown Bear & Friends Board Book Gift Set  Written on May 14, 2008 Summary: Too much repeat I don't want to say anything too bad since my son does enjoy all of the books, but Brown Bear is the only one that rhymes for easy reading memory, and it was kind of disappointing to read the other two books that had not much rhyming to them, and they are basically the exact same. My son is mesmerized by the original Brown Bear book, so I decided to purchase this set for more variety - the other two books are great as well - not quite as rhythmic as Brn Bear, but good! Written on February 26, 2008 Summary: Easy rhymes to say for toddlers! This set of books is an easy read for parents and also an easy listen for children. I have read this to my toddler time and again. She can read it back to me as it is easy to memorize and so enjoyable for them to listen to. The pictures in the book are fun to look at too! |
