Written on November 3, 1998 Summary: Very entertaining and well received when read out loud! My daughter received this book as a gift in 1977 when we lived in Louisiana and it has become a tradition to read it every Christmas (even though we left the South long ago). The characters are easy to relate to because we know the originals - and these are so clever. Just brush up on your accent before reading aloud. Written on January 3, 1998 Summary: A wonderful Christmas story that takes you down to the bayou With a wonderfully funny twist on the original story of the night before Christmas, this story takes you into the heart of Cajun country at Christmas time. It also shows the variety in cultures we have here in the United States. Written on December 19, 1997 Summary: Wonderfuly funny! I read this book every year at our Christmas meeting at work, and everyone loves it! |
