Written on April 27, 2008 Summary: A great addition to the kitchen! I purchased this Chicago Metallic Gourmetware Popover pan and have been making popovers once or twice a week! They turn out perfect and clean-up is very easy. I didn't follow the recipe that comes with the pan...I have my own and it's easier than the one that they include. They turn out wonderful and I would recommend this product to others. The price was reasonable. Written on April 15, 2008 Summary: Making great Popovers This popover pan comes with great, easy-to-understant instructions and recipe. Follow the recipe and instructions to the letter and you get perfect popovers every time. Just be sure to use fresh/not old flour. Clean up is a snap. Charlie E. Written on March 18, 2008 Summary: super popovers Wow! What a great pan. I couldn't believe how high the popovers got. I used butter to grease the pan but they slid out so easily I don't think I even needed to. What an easy recipe and even easier clean up. My husband was impressed and thinks I'm a baking genius. I don't think I'll tell him how fool proof these are. I plan to purchase another for when we have company. After eating gruyere cheese popovers from BLT Steaks, I had to try to make them myself--especially since the popovers had a recipe card tucked in with them! I bought this popover pan, and followed the recipe. Who knew popovers would be so simple to make! I've made popovers 4 times now--2 gruyere, 1 plain recipe, 1 cheddar recipe. The popovers have all come out great, and the pan works exactly as I'd hope. It truly is non-stick, and fits in my dishwasher--which I can't say for all of my specialty cookware. I would definitely recommend this pan to anyone wanting to make popovers. |
