Written on July 11, 2000 Summary: Okay, but Tiberium Sun was better When I got this game about 3 years ago, I loved it, but after the campien missions frutrated me more and more I just gave up, and played skirmish games. Then I got tiberium sun, and I'm playing it even more than before! Don't get me wrong, this is a very good game, it could just be improved upon.  Written on July 1, 2000 Summary: A great game This game rules. It's a lot of fun. I'm so bad at it I can't even beat the game on easy and i still love it. Skirmishs are awesome. There are so many different strategies to use, you'll probaly never figure out all of them. And the expansion packs make it even better(I suggest aftermath, which you can get with the regular game in the arsenal package, But I hear counterstrike is decent also.) I also haer that it is cool to play on the internet, but i've never got that mode to work. The only domnside is you can't play skirmishs. But at this point, I wouldent buy. You will probaly start to play, Love it, Play it alot, Get the new one in october, and throw out the old one. This is a great game, But i suggest you wait for the new one. Written on June 26, 2000 Summary: The best of the C&C series so far I really enjoyed C&C, but Red Alert is all in all the best and most engaging of the 3 (including Tiberian Sun) so far. A great game in the Real Time Strategy genre. Written on June 14, 2000 Summary: World War 2 Just Changed... In C&C: Red Alert (in case you don't already know) you fight an alternate World War 2, in which Germany, Britain, Greece and all the other Western European countries fight against the might of the Soviet Union. The game is a classic, and the scientific details are well thought out. (Tesla now devotes his time to weapons research for the Soviets, while Einstein is the key to a secret Allied weapon) Buy the game - you won't regret it. Written on June 2, 2000 Summary: A classic Red Alert is one of my all time favorite games. I would recommend it to all. The missions are great. There is only one problem in that you can't save skirmishes. This mistake is made up for by the fact that you are so addicted you'll play for hours. The theme of the game is that scienticts went back in time and killed Hitler. Now the Soviets and Allies do battle. Both sides are intertaining and diffrent. The game is diffrent enough to own Tiberan Sun and Red Alert. I would recommend to one and all. |
