Written on January 15, 2007 Summary: Great dishes, Bad packaging I ordered 2 sets as a Christmas present. Amazon did a great job of packing both sets in one box but Corelle did a horrible job of packing the dishes. In each box a dinner dish was broke (shattered) and one mug. There was absolutely no protection between the dishes. In order to get a replacement, Amazon said I had to return the whole thing. I refused (purchased replacements on ebay) because it was a Christmas present and there was no guarantee the next one would arrive any differently. Amazon gave me a partial refund that was satisfactory. Written on January 9, 2007 Summary: corelle hot dots These dishes are very good.... for microwave or dishwasher... and are very attractive and colorful..  Written on January 9, 2007 Summary: Pretty, durable and a great price! I was looking for pretty, kid resistant dishes. This fit the bill. I can throw them in the diswasher and not worry about them. Please be aware that the mugs for this set are stoneware so they are breakable. The price I paid for them was cheaper than the B&M stores and even Ebay. I also got free shipping which was the reason why I bought them from Amazon. Written on January 9, 2007 Summary: Groovy! You can't beat the durability of Corelle! My mother used this brand and I've been loyal ever since. I love the new patterns! Hot Dots is so bright and retro. Even though my mom's hand-me-downs were still in great shape, it's nice to have a new pattern! Written on November 3, 2006 Summary: Nice Set - Hard to find spares I like the quality of the product. the print has a good modern look. We wanted to buy additional bowls/plates from the Corelle factory store nearby. I have not been able to find any supplements for the set from the stores. Beware if you want to add plates or bowls to your set you might just be stuck with buying another set. |
