 Written on August 1, 2008 Summary: don't buy this really...don't buy it the case covers the power button ontop of the phone.you need to use this button inorder to unlock the keypad.Thus,you can EITHER lock your keys and have to remove it from the case,or just not lock it....bottom line -don't buy this case Written on July 25, 2008 Summary: Does what it intends to do, nice finish, BUT hard to remove All these plastic shell cases do exactly what they intend to do -- protect your BJ from getting scratched and does provide some layer of protection in case you drop it on a hard surface. Finish is nice, and while it does add a tiny bit of bulk, it is in no way excessive at all. However, the major deficit is that these are "snap on" type cases which means it is very, very, difficult to remove the casing. Oh and you will need to remove it every once in a while as Windows Mobile will pleasantly lock up on you one day, to which the power button will not respond. The only choice is to pull the battery and that means removing this case. No fun at all and if it happens at an inopportune time (i.e. while not at home, such as expecting an emergency call while frantically looking for someone) you could be seriously screwed. I think this is a major issue for the BJ since there is simply no way to hardware reboot aside from pulling the battery. Frankly, I'm going to find another casing product as I find this case "risky" to use when that lock-up happens one day!  Written on July 2, 2008 Summary: This is not exactly the product in the picture The product is exactly the same except it has a spiky protruding thing on the back to fit into a clear clip that it includes. That part works well, but you cant remove the spike if you just want the case. Its a strong and well fitting case, except it is very very diffictult to remove Written on June 26, 2008 Summary: 4 Stars Until You Have To Remove It I've had this case for about two weeks and I thought it was great. That is until I had to remove it this morning to reset my Blackjack II by removing the battery. This case is so difficult to remove that it just isn't a useable case. It won't be going back on my Blackjack. I've already ordered something else. If the manufacturer or a seller can tell us how to easily remove this case, I might consider using it again. But it's just not a good enough case to make me go through the hellish chore of removing it again. Written on June 18, 2008 Summary: works as promised the case fits my blackjack 2 perfectly. Snaps right on, and leaves open all the access points. One major problem (for me), once snapped on, you need a crowbar to get it off again. This is a huge flaw if you switch batteries during the day. The first time I opened it, I had to pull so hard that when it came open, my phone went flying. Not a good thing. If you don't plan on every taking it off, this is a perfect case. |
