 Written on March 8, 2008 Summary: Keep those sharpies in a safe place! My husband and I were given a Cuisinart Food Processor as a wedding gift and we love it. The only problem was where to safely store the blades and discs since there isn't sufficient room within the body of the processor to do so. This attractive, compact holder solves the problem. The blades and discs fit neatly into their specified compartments and the lid locks into place preventing any accidental contact with the sharp instruments. We were so pleased to find such an item and especially at Amazon, where shipping is free if purchase is over 25 bucks. Thanks Cuisinart, Thanks Amazon! Written on February 16, 2008 Summary: Cheap plastic Theory is great (how else do you store all those discs?), but the execution is poor. Plastic is cheap. Lock doesn't really work properly. Most importantly: it only holds 3 discs. What are you supposed to do with the rest of them? Buy another case, apparently. But then you have to figure out what case the disc you want is in. I would have expected Cuisinart to do better.  Written on February 8, 2008 Summary: Cuisinart blade storage This holder provides a safe way to store the sharp blades and keep them in view. It doesn't hold some of the accessories like the mixer attachment parts, though. The latch leaves something to be desired. To unlatch it, you have to pull the knob out and turn it. It does hold the basic accessories and blades, and it is a lot better solution that leaving blades loose in a drawer. IT KEEPS YOUR BLADES PROTECTED, AND PROTECT YOUR HANDS, AND KEEPS EVERYTHING DUST FREE. I DEFINITELY WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE WHO HAS A CUISINART FOOD PROCESSOR, AND WANTS THE BLADES AND DISCS CLOSE BY. |
