   Summary: Great toaster oven!
We love this toaster oven and use it every day. It bakes perfectly and toasts very well. It heats up quickly to the designated temperature and is easy to use. Saves us using propane oven (in RV) and saves on electricity. It definitely met our needs!

   Summary: Back to Baking
I purchased this product a month ago and I have been happily baking ever since it arrived. I live in a small apartment without a full stove so most cooking was either built-in burners or microwave - and that gets old pretty quick. I bought this one primarily for the baking/roasting/broiling ability. I will not be using the toaster feature, since I already have a smart Cuisinart two-slice toaster.

The only negative is what others have written - no auto off. This isn't really an issue for me in my small space.

It's also good to note that the power cord is very short, so choosing a space close to an outlet is essential. Initially, the plan was to place it atop the microwave on the stand in order to keep limited counter space free, but the cord wouldn't reach the outlet from the stand.

That said, this machine is energy efficient as the cooking times using the convection feature with exact heat cuts most baking time in half. It's large enough to roast a full chicken or two Cornish game hens, browning their skins beautifully. A 2.5 lb eye round roast was crisp on the outside, tender and juicy inside. Haven't prepared casseroles yet, but with winter on the way, I plan to play with those, too.

The convection fan is super quiet so there's no noise to contend with while cooking.

If your kitchen space is limited, this is the oven for you. If you're single, or a couple, this is the oven for you.

   Summary: Not a good buy
After one year of use this toaster oven began to deteriorate to the point that we did not want to use it, or have it in our kitchen. The paint along the top edges is chipped and peeling. The small space underneath the glass door became filled with food debris that ran down the glass with steam. The door cannot be removed, so we tried to clean it first with a soft toothbrush and then with a cloth wrapped over a plastic knife. The paint came off. In addition, there are heat cracks along the plastic touch control panel, and the plastic has crumbled around the screws that hold the body together. We have purchased several other Cuisinart appliances (blender, toaster, coffeemaker and food processor). The only one we are satisfied with is the food processor. They should have stuck with their core competency.

   Summary: Convection toaster oven
I bought this little beauty a few weeks ago and have now had the opportunity to use all of its features: broiling, convection baking and convential baking (of course, just plain toasting too). It does an oustanding job on convection baking (chicken, game hens, small leg of lamb, etc.) and broiling (salmon steaks, chicken breasts, etc.). This is now my very favorite small appliance and I absolutely love it! Dinner guests are very impressed too:-) It is small enough so it doesn't take up too much counter space and is very attractive and streamlined looking and easy to clean. You cannot go wrong with this little beauty and its versatility, and it's perfect for a one or two person household.

Summary: A little pricey, sure, but it's just such a great freakin' toaster
You could definitely buy a cheaper toaster and be happy as a clam. But my aunt has this one and I've loved it for years - well designed, smooth moving doors, great functionality and design of buttons/temp/timing control. Love it. We always had Delonghis growing up and they were good too, but this is better. So if you are feeling a little extravagant, go ahead and get it. If not, you'll still get some great toast (and pizza and baked potatoes)
