I´m the first to admit I wondered about this item when I first received it, but I am a true believer after just one use! Try using this Diamond Chip Foot Buffer along with an excellent foot cream (and the Callous Rasp if needed) to get incredibly soft feet. Will get your feet looking pool pretty in an evening! Genuine diamond chips make this foot care file effective for buffing your feet to a silky smoothness. Nickel coated fiberglass combines with diamonds for flexibility and strength in this unique foot grooming tool. Use on dry feet for best effects and then apply an exfoliating agent for maximum moisturizing benefits. Try Diamancel´s Callous Rasp for those little detail areas. Caring for your Tough Buffer is easy. Simply clean with soap and water and a soft brush. Rinse under running water. For anyone with athlete´s foot, soak your buffer in an antibacterial solution to help kill contagious fungus. It is NOT recommended that the tool be autoclaved. |

 Written on March 24, 2005 Summary: Outstanding buffer..the #11 Diamancel ! I had never heard of this product before I came across some reviews of top beauty products on makeupalley.com. Folks raved about the power of this little tool. At $47 I was hesitant but decided to ante up. And I am so glad I did. The #11 buffer is an outstanding tool. Used dry, you simple rub it across your feet. Dry skin quickly sheds off leaving a soft smooth surface. I follow the buffing with a good moisturizer and tuck my tootsies in socks. The results are smooth, soft pampered feet! The price may seem high at first, but a pittance when you think of all the money you would have spent on pedicures. The tool is designed to last for years and after use a quick wash with a small soft toothbrush and soap will have it ready for the next use. An excellent value! Written on July 22, 2004 Summary: Think this is outrageously expensive? Think again! Rarely -- all TOO rarely -- are items priced at the top of the line *truly* deserving of their price & position, but the Diamancel Tough Buffer *is* one of them (& I say that as a compulsive comparison shopper & clipper of coupons who will wait months, if necessary, to purchase something at a sale price!). Two summers ago I spent my entire summer in sandals. My feet were happy, but my heels & the outer edges of my soles developed calluses *so* thick that they could fairly have been called ?hooves?! As cooler weather approached, I realized that my feet required conscientious tending in order to restore them to a state where D.H. would want to resume playing footsies with them on cool winter nights. I therefore began trying to erode my thick calluses with pumice & various cheap buffers & slathered my feet in tube after tube of foot treatments. This resulted in marginal improvement, but *so* slowly that I nearly despaired of ever fully excavating the softer skin lurking beneath the horny veneer! Then a friend recommended the Diamancel Tough Buffer (& ?Pretty Feet & Hands? moisturizer) -- & I made more progress in restoring my feet to their former tender glory in the following 8 days than I?d managed to make with cheap buffers & pumice stones in the preceding 8 weeks! The Diamancel tough buffer efficiently ?sands? away dead skin, then rinses off quickly & completely under running water. Is the surface really made of diamonds? I don?t know, I just know that it really, really works really, really well! When D.H. complimented me, whilst playing footsies a few nights later, on the recovered softness of my feet, I casually mentioned the Diamancel buffer & its ostensibly outrageous price. Since he?s even cheaper than I am, I braced myself for a storm of protest, but he only observed -- mildly -- that I?d probably wasted several times more on ineffective tools & products than the price of the Diamancel Tough Buffer. When D.H. is right, he?s right! I?ve been using the buffer at least once a week for a couple of years now & it still works as well as it did the day I bought it & doesn?t yet show any sign of wear. I therefore suspect that I will be using it for another 10-20 years at this rate, which would make it one of the most *economical* personal care purchases of my life. And if you?re in the market for a nail file, check out the Diamancel nail files, which also work beautifully, appear never to wear out & are available here at Amazon as well (at least they are as I?m typing this). |
