 Written on August 27, 2007 Summary: Super handheld Vacuum This handheld vacuum is great. I have a golden retriever and this powerful vac has no problem picking up her fur! The vac also has a handy self-contained attachment that is perfect for cleaning the track on my sliding glass doors. I liked this vac so much that I got one for my daughter and neighbor. My neighbor does alot of sewing and she told me it is perfect for picking up all the little treads and also for cleaning the hard to get to areas of her sewing machine. I found that Amazon was $3.oo cheaper than Wally world, no tax and no shipping. Another great buy from Amazon and a great product. Written on July 23, 2007 Summary: Great for power-challenged people My lady and I have been cruising on our sailboat for the last twelve years. We recently visited a department store in Florida before sailing to the Caribbean . We were looking for a lightweight, small footprint, 12VDC vacuum that would be adequate to meet our needs on our small 34' sailboat. We've owned this vacuum for about three months and it has worked flawlessly. I mounted the charging unit on a bulkhead, where we stow the vacuum when not used. It has proven to be perfect for our uses. Battery life seems completly adequate for extended cleanup jobs and the charger unit seems adequate to hold the vacuum when we're on a passage. We recently sailed from Florida to the Dominican Republic, then to Bonaire, and finally to Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela. Despite some rough conditions, the vacuum remained in place in the charger unit. For us, that's a big plus. I would recommend this vacuum to anyone who needs a sturdy vacuum that runs on 12V and needs to keep a relatively small living area clean. Great for cruising sailors (like us) or mobile home owners. One caveat: if you buy one of these vacuums, make sure to get some extra filter bags. Although the one that comes with the original unit seems very durable, we anticipate having to swap it out sometime in the future, especially given that we use the vacuum almost daily. Written on July 19, 2007 Summary: Works wonderfully! This little gadget sucks up everything!!!! I bought it for my mother as a gift, and everytime I visit her I use it. Some of these little vacs are just awful, but this one really works! Written on June 4, 2007 Summary: Excellent as a car vac I bought this vac for my Mazda RX-8. It definitely exceeded my expectations. The suction is just amazing. It even sucks up minute dust particles. Its very light weight and easy to handle. I was easily able to get into the corners in my back seats as well (RX-8 is a coupe!). I cannot imagine what to expect more from a car vacuum! |
