The scooter is designed with tri-wheels for stability and balance, a skid-resistant foot plate for safe footing, and a steel frame for super durability (it'll even hold up to 100 pounds). This purple scooter is adorned with Dora the Explorer graphics and is perfect for new riders to cruise around the neighborhood in style. It also features 6-inch clear PVC tires and T-design handlebars with comfortable grips. A fun Dora backpack is included to stash small items, and it attaches to the front of her scooter. It measures 10 inches long by 4-1/2 inches wide by 12-1/4 inches tall.

 Written on June 29, 2007 Summary: Poor design I'm surprised to see so many positive reviews here. The back wheels are very poorly designed. The bolts stick out really far and my daughter is constantly banging her ankle on it, and ends up crying and throwing her scooter on the ground. Written on February 20, 2007 Summary: Nice & sturdy scooter I purchased this scooter for my youngest daughter for her 5th birthday. It went together fairly easily, just minor blips in the process. My one complaint is that within the first day or two of riding the scooter the decal on the bed of the scooter started falling off....which is the main thing that makes this a "Dora" scooter instead of just a plain ol' red scooter. The scooter itself is sturdy, easy for her to ride & the perfect size for her.  Written on January 18, 2007 Summary: Great scooter for beginners Our daughter is 3 1/2 years old and always scared of all wheeled stuff like bikes or scooters. She never wanted to try anything. But this wheeler took all her anxiety (because of the third wheel, of course). When she got the scooter, in her first days she rolled very slow and careful, but now she is running through the whole town, taking every bump and looking already for ramps. Written on January 18, 2007 Summary: Great Scooter I ordered 2 of these Dora scooters, (to take advantage of free shipping). They were easy to put together, claimed Grampi, and well made. The handle bar is adjustable too. The back pack is cute and we left it attached to the handle bars so the children can put a little snack inside. These scooters were a great extra gift. Originally intended for the 3 year old, now, with 2 scooters on hand, her friend can use one when she is visiting, and the 18 month old who wants to emulate her sister, can grow into it. I would definitely order it again to give confidently as a gift to any little child. Written on January 17, 2007 Summary: Decent scooters. My daughters are 3 and 4 and we bought 2 scooters, the girls really enjoy them. They were very easy to assemble. The wheels are a good size and my girls have an easy time riding them. The backpacks are not the greatest quality and broke very quickly: one zipper was broken, the other the backpack strap came unraveled and we had to cut it off, all within a week of purchase. We have not had problems with the actual scooters. |
