Each unit has been designed specifically for the U.S. market. Most models can be mounted to a wall, either hard-wired (by a professional) or soft wired, allowing them to be plugged into a standard outlet. Some models offer the unique ability to be used freestanding. Because Warmrails are so good at drying towels (and even clothing and delicate laundry items), a heated towel and drying rack can save an owner money, while helping to protect the environment. Energy bills will be lower due to running the dryer less frequently. This in turn extends the life of towels and clothing and reduces detergents in the waterways.  Written on March 10, 2007 Summary: The better thing in my bathroom This Warmrails it's the better thing in my bathroom, when you out to the shower your towel is at perfect temperature, cool thing, perfect size to medium bathroom, and good looking, it's modernd and simple. Written on March 9, 2007 Summary: Beach Life in CMCH, NJ I recently purchased my Warmrails and I am very pleased with its performance. With the pleasures of living at the beach, comes damp towels and bathing suits! How convenient it is to use the Warmrails Towel Warmer and not have piles of wet towels in the laundry room! I definitely recommend this product.  Written on March 8, 2007 Summary: Not Warm Enough The unit delivered does not heat the towels enough - almost no heat at all. I will check with the manufacturer to see if anything can be done. If all are like this one, I would never recommend that anyone buy one.  Written on February 22, 2007 Summary: towel dryer - not towel warmer This barely warms towels but works well for drying them and avoiding a mildewy smell in our cold bathroom. Being able to count on a dry fresh smelling towel, along with a decent price, makes buying it worthwhile to me. Written on February 8, 2007 Summary: Wonderful Device We bought one for our new home and we love it. Decal says it's rated at 80 watts but it's hot enough that you don't want to grab a rail and hold on tightly. It has an on-off switch but it uses so little electricity that we just leave it on all the time. My husband mounted it on the bathroom wall near an outlet; it can also stand alone on the supplied feet. You might be disappointed if you expect this unit to match the larger and hotter ones found in European hotels. However, we find that it does a good job and costs only pennies a day to run -- we're satisfied with the purchase. It easily holds two large bath towels (folded in half the long way and draped partially over one another); it also does well at drying wet swimsuits. The Product Description is right -- it won't superheat the towels, just warming them so they feel good. Our grandchildren love to be able to wrap themselves in warm towels, so they take their baths in Grandma's bathroom now. We like it so much we're thinking of getting a second one for the guest bathroom. |
