Written on September 29, 2005 Summary: An extra bowl is so handy! Having this extra bowl really comes in handy. No more mid-prep cleanup of your bowl so you can mix up the second element of your confection or meal. This is a time saver and a huge convience. This bowl isn't as nice as the stock bowl that comes with the Kitchen-Aid Artisan mixer, that is the only reason it doesn't get 5 stars. This bowl features the flat handle you are used to. If you have ever moved your mix to a bowl, cleaned your mixer bowl, and then mixed up more stuff, then you need one or two of these.  Written on September 26, 2005 Summary: It's a must to have two! I bought this bowl as a spare for my mixer. For anyone who bakes, it's a must to have at least two of these bowls. I can use one for a recipe, put it in the sink or dishwasher and pull out the second for my other recipe. I'm so happy I purchased a spare. It saves time and effort. When I ordered the Kitchen Aid ice cream bowl, I ordered the bowl with a handle to push my order up so that I could receive a $20 certificate from Amazon. The "bonus" is that I just love this new bowl. Now I wish I had purchased this a long time ago. Written on August 15, 2003 Summary: You Can Never Have Too Many Mixing Bowls When this bowl was offered in my gold box shortly before Christmas I snapped it up. This is the third bowl I own for my beloved Kitchen Aid stand mixer. When you do as much baking as I during the holidays it's lovely to not have to wash up between each batch of cookie dough. Written on May 30, 2003 Summary: I know it's only a bowl... but if you use a KitchenAid mixer, you need an extra one of these!! It is not so much a luxury as a necessity if you do a fair amount of cooking and baking. Pros: It's exactly like the one that came with your mixer. It's dishwasher safe, it stays looking new for eons. Cons: None. Unless you like washing dishes in the middle of your cooking. Recommendation: Having 2 bowls has made a big difference for me, and it will for you too! |
