   Summary: Excellent game
This is an excellent piece of software. I am a professional aerospace engineer and I can assure that they have the physics done very well. It would be perfect it I was good enough pilot to fly the planes!

Summary: Fun game but needs improvement as far as the way the gauges look and the plane operates
Although the learning references are excellent and very informative, the planes and there actual methods of operation suck by reality standards. If you are a true boeing fan and like to fly the "heavies" you will pinch yourself for a reality check when you try out the PMDG lineup of 737s and 747s. You will never want to go back to the microsoft planes after you try PMDG for the first time! Although the jets are very complicated to start up and prepare for flight, they are so worth it! You will very rarely have engine stalls and the actual simulation itself is as authentic as authentic can get. If you're interested check out precisionmanuals.com. This game is necessary as prerequisite for playing PMDG so if you only want to fly the PMDG planes by the way this review sounds, you will still need to install MSFS2004 first. But if you only want to fly the MSFS planes, I say good luck with trying.

To make learning how to operate the gauges and buttons easier be sure to check into the Microsoft flight simulator 2004 strategy guide. That is the only way you will ever learn to get it up and then get it back down successfully time and time again

   Summary: Instructor
Microsoft flight simulator 2004 is an excellant product. I am a teacher at a middle school. We have a module lab in the Technology Education Department. The students love getting this module. The flight simulator is a great way to experience flying. I recommend this product to anyone interested in flying.

Summary: Product is okay...Microsoft is the problem
This is a nice product. Trying to get an answer to a simple question from Microsoft is another matter. I am a government employee and I am constantly hearing how government employees are inefficient and government bureaucracy is so terrible. Try calling Microsoft and getting an answer to the most simple of questions. Good luck. You'll have a much better experience calling the State Department and asking about your passport. When I installed this product there was an automatic link for product registration. It didn't work. I have searched the internet, and placed numerous phone calls and sent emails. I get the same runaround from every response. It's like they're trained to pass you off to someone else. They always give me the same phone number. The person at that number gives me another number. That number has nothing to do with registering this product. The problem with this kind of company is that they are so big, they have lost sight of what made them so big in the first place, their customers. They don't give a diddly squat about their customers. They're so big, they figure if you're unhappy, so what, the next guy will buy their product, we don't care. In the future I will certainly do a thorough check of other company's products before I even look at Microsoft. Oh, how I hate them!!!!!

Summary: MircoSoft Flight Sim 2004 A Century Of Flight
At 57 years old I have been a fan of MS flight sim from the beginning. It's as real as real gets. I just wish I had the money to afford a monster computer machine so I could run the new one Flight Sim X. Although Flight Sim 2004 , A Century Of Flight, has a lot of eye candy it still lacks the scenery that makes Flight Sim X the best. Looking for bang for the buck you can't go wrong with MS FS 2004.
