 Written on October 30, 2008 Summary: doesn't work for NUVI Although it does stick to the dash fairly well, the height of the donut is too high for the garmin nuvi mount. Written on October 24, 2008 Summary: Remove the film over the bottom of the unit! The dash mount works great, at least it does since I removed the clear film that covers the white bottom of the unit. Remember to remove this film before using as my dash mount took a few slides around and off the dashboard! Written on October 24, 2008 Summary: GPS holder We bought 3 and 2 will be Christmas gifts. The third one is ours and we used it just recently and it worked well. We hope it continues to do the job we wanted.  Written on October 22, 2008 Summary: OK I guess It works OK. The only thing I don't like about it is that I can't get the unit to tilt down enough for me to view the screen the way I would like to.  Written on October 21, 2008 Summary: Mizmi G11000 GPS Dash Mount I found this unit to hold well when positioned on the dashboard due to its weight and large diameter base. The one negative I found was that when I mounted my GPS with a window type suction mount to the Mizmi G11000, the GPS only held for a short time and then fell off the mount. I solved this problem by placing an adhesive backed dashboard mounting disk that came with my GPS onto the mounting surface of the G11000. My GPS holds to this surface much better. |
