Professional Review:
It's hard not to start feeling sentimental after hearing the loose collection of love ballads that comprise the Notting Hill soundtrack. The romantic comedy starring Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant is filled with the modern sounds of love--as sung by everyone from pop harmonizers (Boyzone, 98 Degrees) to classic soulsters (Bill Withers, Al Green). The Spencer Davis Group's "Gimme Some Lovin'" adds a garage-rock edge, but if you're not up for slow-burning love tunes, this soundtrack probably isn't for you. Two guitar-based score tracks from composer Trevor Jones fill out Notting Hill and add nice instrumental touches to the disc. --Jason Verlinde

   Summary: MY WEDDING SONG
im not really a fan of soundtracks, especially soundtracks from romance/comedy movies. I liked the movie, but not THAT much to go out and by the music, especially since I only really recalled one song that i actually heard. However, i was in class, and my teacher plays music while we take notes, and she started playing this cd with the best soothing tunes! well, to make a long story short, i burned that cd of hers, it happened to be NOTTING HILL, and i listen to it when life gets chaotic! My favorite song is #8, When You Say Nothing At All, by Ronan Keating.. This is going to be my wedding song!!

Summary: Just as great as the movie
GREAT soundtrack - especially Al Green's "How can you mend a broken heart?" and Bill Wither's "Ain't no sunshine". Excellent tracks from one of the best romantic comedies ever!

   Summary: Romance Galore
This album is full of love songs. If you are in the mood or want someone else in the mood for romance - this album is the perfect choice!

Although, The Notting Hill soundtrack does not provide much variety, it has plenty of romance and pretty songs! My favorites are "She" (Elvis Costello); "Ain't No Sunshine" (Bill Withers) and "When You Say Nothing at All" (Ronan Keating).

This cd is filled with great songs and I think you will enjoy them all! I highly recommend this cd. I often play it a dozen times in a row... it is THAT good!

Happy listening!

   Summary: Great sound-track
One of the best sound-track I've ever purchased. Great value.

Summary: Hands down the best movie soundtrack
I have never bought a movie soundtrack in my life but after watching the movie I knew I had to have it. My favorite song of all time has always been "Aint No Sunshine" by the great Bill Withers and this song is also on the soundtrack. "She" by Elvis Costello is an added bonus - one of his best singles. There really isn't one song on here that I don't absolutely love.
