 Written on September 7, 2008 Summary: PNY Verto GenForce so far this has been a great buy for me. I can now use both of my monitors at the same time. Written on September 6, 2008 Summary: Good Value - but 1GB now same price As a low-power gamer, this was a good upgrade for my Dell Pentium D w/ Vista Ultimate. Two weeks later the same 8500 GT but w/ 1GB came out for $50 !!! Now I know why the price dropped... anyhow, I am happy with it. No issues. Get the latest nVidia software at their site. Written on August 28, 2008 Summary: Wish it was smaller, but fantastic! When I got my product, I tried to install it into my tiny computer, but it wouldn't fit, so I used a different one (my dad's). The advancements were outstanding, the card was low priced and yet, it made every single one of my games at least 12x faster! I'm not a serious gamer, so that means that the games I had didn't need much power and advanced graphics processer, but I was nonetheless impressed. Written on August 27, 2008 Summary: Great Value This was just installed today about a week after i purchased it cause i needed a better power supply...The box says 300 watts but nowhere did it say that in any of the specs...I was kind of disappointed about that but i was going to need to upgrade eventually. The graphics are great and the control panel for this product is very detailed for those of us who dont know what all the lingo is about (concerning graphics and gaming and some visual references) My windows rating went from 3.2 to a 4.8 for the graphics and for aero it went from a 3.8 to a 4.8 and my overall rating is that very 4.8!! This card is good for everything from videos to games to applications and so on, so if your not an extreme gamer then i would recommend this Gcard. Written on August 23, 2008 Summary: Can't beat it for the price Good overall performance and low cost, moderate power consumption. Games are now smoother, and you can tune the settings for speed, quality, etc using a slider bar, or more advanced settings for those that want to custom tune and tweak the card. Overall, well worth the $49 paid. |
