It is very heavy and luxurious. The loops are very densely packed which makes this a very absorbent and soft towel. Written on October 23, 2008 Summary: I'll make this short and sweet This is really a fine towel. Made in Turkey, thick, and well constructed. It's as nice as what you'd expect to see in a truly top notch hotel. It will throw off a lot of lint first time you wash it though, so clean out your dryer's lint screen halfway through the dry cycle. Written on October 23, 2008 Summary: Ooh! Nice and Plush! I received this towel just yesterday afternoon and put it to the test with my morning shower. It was so plush and comfy feeling when I took it out of the box. Even the packaging was extra nice for Amazon as it came with several tags advertising and explaining the 'Pinzon' quality. This towel is very large so it wraps comfortably around the body. And after my shower you could barely tell that it had been used at all since it still looked dry and was only damp to the touch around the edges, unlike the regular Sears cotton towels I usually use. I'd definitely get another of these for my husband, whose a little envious! Written on October 23, 2008 Summary: Large, Absorbent, Soft, Thick This is a heck of a towel. I was expecting to receive a nice towel, but this towel is THICK, heavy, absorbent, and soft. Frankly, it's everything you would expect from a hotel towel, at a darn reasonable cost. The towel's size is huge, and you won't be struggling to stretch the towel if you like to wrap it around your waist, like I do. It's plenty big enough for drying off after a shower, and still stays dry enough you can wrap it around your waist while you deal with post-shower grooming and essentials. All in all, I highly recommend this towel for the size, absorbency, softness, weight, and quality. |
