 Written on May 15, 2007 Summary: Infinitely Handy What a great price for nice dishes, they came fast and completely in tact. I enjoy using clear glass for so many reasons. Plastic ages with brown scratches. Clear glass feels good, is better for the environment, and you can see the food you just stored using the handy lids that seal very well. Written on May 15, 2007 Summary: more truly essential Pyrex From batter to salads, this set has you covered. Exceptional value in a set of Pyrex bowls with lids that means they do double duty as mixing bowls and storage containers. I bought this set because I needed a large glass salad bowl with a cover, and feel almost like I got the bonus of three additional covered mixing bowls. The smaller two bowls are great for small mixes, scrambled eggs, reheats and storage, and the larger 2 bowls are great for mixing and salads. I love that I now have a way to store salads that doesn't involve plastic wrap or foil. Made in USA. Microwave safe. Freezer safe. Dishwasher safe. Safer and frankly, more durable than plastics. Written on May 12, 2007 Summary: Great product I love these bowls! They are the perfect sizes for many different items. Great quality - and the lids are neat colors too! I would buy this again and might actually purchase a second set at some point. Written on April 3, 2007 Summary: Great Bowl Set This bowl set is sturdy and has a good variety of bowl sizes to fit most needs. Quality of Pyrex makes it easy to fix, cook and store in the same bowl. Lids provide color, easy stacking and a good seal. One dissappointment was how the lids tend to stain easily. After only one use, one lid stained on the underside from a tomato mixture being stored. So far, I have not been able to remove the stain. Without the lids, the bowl set stacks nicely, but with all four bowls, the set is pretty heavy. Written on January 16, 2007 Summary: wonderful product! These smart essentail mixing bowls are wonderful! Amazon has the best price around! They're nice, large glass bowls with different color lids and very easy to store! I would recommend this product to anyone! |
