Written on September 23, 2008 Summary: Amazing Bargain This knife is fabulous. Sturdy and durable construction and it cuts like a hot knife through cold butter. The price for such a great knife cannot be beat. Written on September 23, 2008 Summary: Super Knife I have a lot of expensive knives but I find myself reaching for the Forschner knife almost all of the time. Light but sturdy and very sharp. Written on September 21, 2008 Summary: Super knife for the money We bought the knife based on the recommendation from America's Test Kitchen. It is sharp, properly weighted, and costs a fraction of its competitors. I love it. Written on September 10, 2008 Summary: Excellent value This product was highly recommended by the America's Test Kitchen program which is why I got it. The 8 inch blade is very sharp and the handle is very comfortable. I haven't had it long enough to require sharpening it yet -- only 4 months. The price is very, very good. I would rate this knife much higher than the more expensive Henckels knives. This is a fabulous knive, ergonomic, easy to use and slices and dices like a dream. This is my new "go to" wedding and shower gift. |
