   Summary: Pretty Good
I bought this for my 4 year old daughter, and bought a regular razor for her older brother. I think it is great to have the 3 wheels since she is at the age where balancing on it was a little tough, but for some reason it doesn't roll smoothly like a 2-wheel scooter. It seems really slow and I think she gets frustrated with that. It makes it a little more work to push yourself along. I would say, wait till your child is old enough to ride a 2 wheel scooter and skip the Kiddie Kick. The 2-wheel razor works great.

   Summary: Good for a beginner
My 3 1/2 year old son received this as a Christmas gift and he is totally in love with it. The only problem I see with it is that it does not glide like other scooters, he has to constantly push it. I think that he is going to eventually get tired of that as he sees older children pushing a few times and then riding with both feet on the scooter. For a beginner I think this is a good buy. If your child has ever been on a scooter before I think you might want to try a different one.

   Summary: Great little scooter
This scooter was equally enjoyed by 5 of our grandchildren, ages 4-6. It was easy for even the youngest to use and was in constant demand while they visited for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays - coming from cold country to the desert southwest they put a lot of miles on it in a short time. Unfortunately it did not withstand the crunch tires that ran over it when left behind a car....

   Summary: Good Starter Scooter
Our family actually has two of these -- one pink & one blue for our younger children. Although these scooters are targeted at 3+, our five year old only wanted a three-wheel scooter and he is very, very happy with it. As always happens, his younger sister kept riding his so we bought the pink one for her. There are a few things which differentiate these scooters from their "bigger brothers" (Razor Kick Scooters). First, they don't have a brake on them -- this initially concerned me *but* they don't go nearly as fast as the two-wheeled versions. Second, the body of the scooter is plastic over a steel tube frame. The only reason I point this out is the weight limit on these scooters is stated as 50 lbs -- I think I'll keep the older kids off of this one! Third, the scooters have a "spare" wheel -- yes, a spare wheel and a hidden compartment for hex keys to allow swapping of wheels and adjustments to the scooter. I was not expecting a need for adjustments or a spare wheel -- what's that about? Finally, the pink scooter showed up with one of the wheels rubbing slightly against the plastic base. Luckily the hex keys were included so I could make a small adjustment here and there and it then worked just great. This is a good starter scooter, you can tell as I bought two!

   Summary: Kiddie kick scooter
This scooter is awesome! My son has become one with it. The best part was how fast it arrived. I had originally ordered it from Walmart using their site to store feature and 2 weeks later was still waiting. By the third week I got impatient. I mean were they riding the scooter across the country? I finally gave up and went to Amazon. The scooter was at my house within two days and the shipping was free because of a special they were running. Next time I'll skip everyone else and head straight to Amazon!
