 Written on April 17, 2008 Summary: Renaisance 600 sheets We recently bought the 600 thread count sheets. I wasn't crazy about the color, but figured they would at least feel good. They were great until we washed them. Then they pilled up. I was suprised at how worn they look after just one washing. I'm glad that we only bought one set of sheets.  Written on April 16, 2008 Summary: Great sheet set I was very surprised how soft this sheet set felt after just one wash! The quality is excellent - I can highly recommend this item. and you certainly can't beat the price Written on April 7, 2008 Summary: Heavy Duty Sheets Whoever named this color 'cafe' is nuts. A better name would be 'amber' or 'cognac' maybe. Do not order these thinking you're getting anything close to the picture. The picture looks like coffee with cream, right? Well, not the case. Nonetheless, its a beautiful color that happens to match my bedding. Maybe a little too shiney, but they are indeed called sateen, so I'm not complaining. After washing, while loading into dryer, my major impression was 'sailcloth'. These are heavy when wet, and seriously thick. That's OK, I wanted sheets that we wont wear holes in after a few years, like all we've had so far. I have to say too, very deep pockets on these sheets. I thought I had a thick mattress, since we've had the sheet corners come off the bed all the time, but these sheets had more than enough corner room without struggling to make the bed. The first night, my husband and I were cracking up because these sheets are really NOISY. Every time we moved you could hear the rustling, we we're afraid the baby would wake up from it. Maybe they could be called crisp? Lastly, they are very warm. There were supposed to be our spring/summer sheets, but here in So. Calif. in April they were warmer than our flannel sheets. So, overall, I do really like them and am confident that they are very good quality that will likely outlast our newer mattress. Written on April 5, 2008 Summary: 1 year anniversary for these sheets and still holding strong Don't go for the 1,200 thread count. You don't need to , these sheets have been washed and dryed umteen times over the past year. They hold up well, still feel soft, keep their color, do not shrink, and wrinkle only lightly. The price is right. Written on March 29, 2008 Summary: Very soft but slightly thick I love these sheets now. They're a bargain but, when I first got them they smelt like paint. I bought them in white because of the reviews saying the color washes out. They are very comfy with my new bed. |
