 Written on May 25, 2007 Summary: Yuck! Simmons Beautyrest waterproof king mattress pad Sigh! Is it impossible to find a quality mattress pad that is also waterproof? As a new mom I must now find a waterproof pad and they pale in comparison to the quality of mattress pads that I am used to. This pad feels horrible, is quite a workout to get on the bed and does not stay in place, it is constantly working itself off under the sheet. I would recommend passing this one up.Simmons Beautyrest Cotton Blend Waterproof with Laminate Twin Mattress Pad  Written on May 16, 2007 Summary: Crunchy and bunchy I saw the reviews on this product and decided to purchase it. It does work ok, but is somewhat "crunchy"- not plastic-feeling like many others, but does take some getting used to. I find it also to be rather "bunchy". It forms a circle when you hold it up ready to put it on and never settles into the corners of the mattress like you would like it to. The advantage is that it does not easily come off, but it also does not ever lay flat on the mattress causing some bunching. We still use it, but I would rather it had a better fit and a less stiff feel.  Written on April 5, 2007 Summary: great for toddlers We bought this pad for our 2 year-old son's twin bed and it was so nice that we later purchased one for our Queen sized bed. It is soft and doesn't crinkle and make noise like other pads we've had. It also washes in the machine really well. We've washed my son's once a week since we bought it (about 6 months) and it hasn't changed a bit, still appears to be in great condition. Both the twin and the queen fit our mattresses well. Written on March 15, 2007 Summary: Simmons Beautyrest Waterproof Mattress Pad This is one of two waterproof mattress pads that are used in my household. The other pad holds water when washed and takes forever to dry. The Simmons does neither. Washes and dries beautifully in addition to going on the mattress easier than the other. |
