After disappearing for three years, Artemis Fowl has returned to a life different from the one he had.  Written on October 29, 2008 Summary: Another great chapter in a wonderful series. Following the tradition of great books in the series The Time Paradox is a great read from opening to closing. The book is quick paced and keeps you wanting more. I read the book in under a week and the only thing I could've hoped for after the experience was another hundred pages. Not to say the story or book were short, just that I didn't want it to end. Written on October 26, 2008 Summary: Will do business again The book was in perfect condition and my brother read it within 3 days. It is a wonderful book and I thank the seller for putting up this book to please any Artemis Fowl collector. It is a wonderful book to add to the series. I will gladly do business again. :) Written on October 15, 2008 Summary: Time Paradox Very good, fast paced, and exciting, all the usual characters with a special appearance by a villain from the past (literally). Gets confusing near the end, but very good book over-all Written on October 15, 2008 Summary: Smart and fun young adult science fiction! Enn Reitel's English accent and deep, commanding voice fit perfectly a young adult novel that blends science fiction with magic. Author Colfer is just as comfortable writing about body scans, bond like gadgets and artificial limbs as he is describing elves, giving Artemis Fowl a unique feel that is both modern and timeless. An ample prologue will help new readers catch up on unfamiliar territory covered in previous books. Artemis Fowl went missing for three years and now back home, and age 14, he lives with special and magical powers. Artemis Fowl must race against time to save his mother whose organs are failing from a mysterious disease, and face off with a cunning enemy - himself. Time travel will spin children's brains and makes for an intelligent vehicle filled with plot twists and surprises. Fans of children's science fiction will be intrigued by the modern day mysticism of Artemis Fowl. Written on October 14, 2008 Summary: Not the best, but pretty good Another enjoyable Artemis Fowl adventure. I did think this one started a little slow, though. And what happened to Minerva? Not even a mention? Come on! |
