Written on September 7, 2008 Summary: Itlaian Kitchen Essential Since olive oil is a basic necessity in Italian cooking, who wouldn't apperciate this stylish decanter? Stainless steel and sturdy, good handle and well balanced, the only thing I wish I could change is a thinner spout to control a smaller flow of oil. But, I would buy this for a gift for all my foodie friends. Pour on!  Written on September 7, 2008 Summary: olive oil dispenser After looking at many, this little can fits the bill. Looks terrific and well constructed. Easy to fill and lid stays put. two thumbs up.  Written on August 5, 2008 Summary: Pretty, but leaks This can leaks or drips regardless of how slowly oil is poured from it, leaving a ring of olive oil underneath after every use. It's not functional--it's a pain in the neck.  Written on April 12, 2008 Summary: Defective - Dispenser Leaks Looks very nice - polished stainless steel. Seems very functional too with large capacity and a nice long spout for careful pouring. Unfortunately, as soon as I poured oil into it, the dispenser started leaking at the place where the spout is welded to the main body of the dispenser. Bad Chinese quality control I guess. So, if you buy one be prepared to go through an exchange until you get a good quality product. Written on March 11, 2008 Summary: Oil Can I really like the look of this oil can. It does have one design flaw though. If you fill it to the top with oil it doesn't give you a clean pour and seems to spill a little. |
