 Written on September 26, 2007 Summary: Best Jewelry Organizer I am so happy with this product. It has really helped to organize my jewelry and it saves me a lot of time by not having to search for just the right jewelry piece when I need it. I'm going to buy several more as gifts for my jewelry loving friends.  Written on September 2, 2007 Summary: Great concept, not very practical.. I was really excited to get this product in the mail & use it on my trip overseas because I knew it would be a lifesaver. Unfortunately I won't be bringing it overseas because I can't even fit half my jewelry in it! This is great if you wear REALLY small earrings, necklaces, & bracelets..although the pockets do not fasten & secure your jewelry inside, so don't put anything expensive in there. My jewelry tends to be a little chunkier & there is no stretch to the pockets, even to fit a set of 3 small bracelets! Plus, the jewelry sticks out of the top. The pockets towards the bottom are larger, but still not large enough to secure your jewelry safely. Good luck getting anything in the other pockets! I had trouble getting small pins & brooches in those too! Written on June 27, 2007 Summary: Space Saving I purchased 2 of these. This jewelry organizer is quite sturdy. (The hanger portion is a thicker metal.) The pocket sizes are generous for average size pieces (chains small - medium beaded jewelry). If you have lots of stiff metal bracelets or large chunky jewelry - you might want to check out something else. I gave this a 4 of 5 stars for 2 reasons: 1) If you have medium sized jewelry on one side.. the pockets on the back are a little tight. I found that if I put the necklaces on one side & earrings on the other - it works out fine. 2) If you have a lot of silver jewelry - you will need to put the jewelry in small sealed plastic bags within each pocket. The silver will tarnish if you put the jewelry directly in the pockets. Written on June 1, 2007 Summary: Organized Chaos Having accumulated a vast amount of costume jewelry over the past few years, I was thrilled to find this jewelry organizer online. I placed all winter jewelry on one side of the organizer and placed summer jewelry on the other side. Everything is in full view and I am wearing jewelry now that I had totally forgotten about. It would be nice to have at least a row of even larger pockets for necklaces which do not "give" as much and heavier watches. Also a few snap closures would be appropriate when pieces slide out. All in all I am very pleased with my purchase. I have cleaned up my dresser space by hanging the organizer on the back of a door. Written on May 13, 2007 Summary: This is a very convenient way to store my many earrings. My sister-in-law received this product as a gift and showed it to me when I mentioned how difficult it was to find the earrings I wanted by rummaging through a drawer-full of various smaller boxes. I was always forgetting what colors I had and would often missplace the ones I wanted to wear by taking them off and laying them down on the dresser, nightstand, etc. Now I have them totally organized. |
